“The Dolphin Bay Resort and Spa not only caters to you but they go out of their way to make your pet feel very much at home too. From the beautiful decor of the ocean view suites, some have a full kitchen, one and two bedrooms, for family and friends and most importantly unlike other hotels that require a size limit, the Dolphin Bay Resort doesn’t.” Thank goodness for that because Journey’s nick name is “STRETCHHHHHH” He’s so big! But we just love him… he’s simply LABRADORABLE! If you want to know more about him and how lucky we were to find him WATCH!
One of the best parts of our staycation was celebrating both Jim’s and Journey’s birthday. It just so happens, when we adopted Journey we learned they were born a day a part, and ironically both were born in Nebraska… what are the odds of that?
The Lido Restaurant has the best breakfast on the Pismo strip!
And we had a fabulous birthday dinner too.
There is nothing like the fresh smell of ocean air wafting into your ocean view bedroom in the morning. And even better is snuggling together over a hot cup of fresh coffee compliments of the full kitchen and bar in your own private suite.
You know the old saying, “give a dog a bone,” well, we like to say, “give a dog a home,” and if Journey could stack up all the special treats he has received for the last 4 years of his life, I would have to say… his favorite place so far in all the world is Pismo Beach And you, just might win a staycation with your favorite pet too.We loved the Dolphin Bay Resort and Spa!!
