“Breast Cancer Awareness begins with self examination. Mammograms can’t detect everything that’s why it is important that women perform a monthly self exam using the Breast Health Action Kit.” Olivia Newton-John
In Memory of the late Chrissy Amphlett WATCH!
In 1992, Olivia was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her personal triumph against cancer led her to announce her partnership with Austin Health and the creation of the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in her hometown of Melbourne, Australia. After nearly ten years of fundraising close to $200 million, the ONJCWC opened its doors in 2012. The wellness centre provides a comprehensive range of services and facilities for cancer treatment, education, training and research as well as a dedicated wellness center.
Her path to her own wellness includes helping others become “thrivers.”

Olivia also announced that the Olivia Breast Health Action Kit will be sold at the Flamingo Promenade gift shop, as well as retail shops at other Caesars Entertainment properties. The Olivia Breast Health Action Kit is a comprehensive wellness kit, which unites valuable breast health information and an interactive journal with an effective self-examination device so women have a credible yet, simple system to monthly examine their breasts; know what to look for and how to optimally prepare for their annual check-ups and screenings.
. The campaign launched in April with a reworking of the iconic song by 10 of Australia’s best-known female artists, including breast cancer survivor Olivia Newton-John, ARIA female artist of the year winners Sarah Blasko and Megan Washington, Baby Animals singer Suze DeMarchi, and ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Little Pattie, who is Amphlett’s cousin.
