Kit Kemp’s masterfully designed Knightsbridge London is one of a kind. She pays extra attention to detail in bringing joy to every experience.

What I loved about this Firmdale property is its location. Situated on a quiet tree-lined street in the heart of Knightsbridge you can indulge in brisk but brief walks to London’s most internationally known icon, Harrods.

My favorite dish in all of London a hot bowl of Pea Soup at Harrods.

  Our driver, Richard Gascoigne drives a Silver Mercedes S Class with great style and aplomb. He whisked us around the city effortlessly and in luxury. His winning personality and delightful asides about English drivers had us in hysterics. We were on a tight turnaround in the city and had to get to the countryside to visit Tim Hart’s magnificent Hambleton Hall in Oakum Rutland.

There are so many ways to indulge in life but I think the English own the words resplendent repurposing. Or, as we say it, “everything old is new again.”

Craving Sushi- Gota Have It!

Zuma Sushi is one London’s most coveted dining experiences. You can’t get in without a reservation. Even if you have one, most people will wait to get a front row seat. We got extra lucky!

Kemp’s designs and interiors are always welcoming. In fact, once you have experienced one Firmdale property you have nothing to compare it to other than the last Firmdale experience which creates a craving for more.
